PerBacco! Grape Harvest Festival

PerBacco! The Bellinzona Grape Harvest Festival is not just about grape harvests and wines, but an exclusive invitation that leads the simple passer-by or the occasional tourist through the streets of our characteristic old town in the shadow of the ancient castles, offering them a convivial atmosphere and the chance to listen to good music while savouring the excellent Ticino wines.

Thursday evening will be a kind of preview of the festival, which will get into full swing on Friday evening with the official opening. Saturday will be enlivened by the famous traditional Bellinzona market and in the afternoon by the tasting of regional wines in the streets of the town. On Sunday, the award ceremony for the photography competition will close the event.

Throughout the event, which is unique for its characteristics in Ticino, the wine bars of the PerBacco! association will be open with the possibility of trying 100 labels of wines from the region, as well as various refreshment points where you can sample the local gastronomic world.

Other events on the programme such as grape crushing, distillation and the cooper at work will welcome visitors, making them participate in the traditions of grape processing up to its transformation into wine or distillates.
