How it looks

Compact garnet red, slight violet hues

Aroma

Intense floral attack of violet and light geranium. Black cherry jam. Closing with light smoky and sandalwood touches

Taste

The fruity start recalls the cherry notes perceived on the nose. The tannic presence is medium-high and of excellent workmanship. Fresh and savoury finish in tune with the soft trail

Perfect match with

Its balanced flavour and moderate body make it the perfect ally to traditional Ticino dishes, even revisited. Terreni alla Maggia risotto with saffron, marrow and cardoncelli mushrooms. Red polenta with stewed wild boar.
